How did you get the job at Ology? I've been trying to find fashion internships for this summer but I've been having trouble, and I'd love to find a freelance job. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The job with Ology honestly fell into my lap. The editor, Lauren, had approached me with the internship. If you’re in high school, it’s best to start looking locally (ie: town newspaper, school yearbook, etc.). A majority of internships require school credit and/or college enrollment. Touch base with anybody that you think might have a connection to an internship - networking is key. Start sending your resume and cover letters to everybody. You can find internship postings at freefashioninternships, ed2010, internqueen, and even craigslist. You can email me at vogueweekendblog@gmail.com if you want more advice. I’m happy to be more specific and detailed. Good luck!
